My wife and I would like to thank Ian Gengos and his team at Berkshire Hathaway in San Jose Del Cabo. They made our purchase of a condominium in Mexico a very easy and stress free process. Not having purchased property outside of Canada before we were somewhat unsure of the process. We also do not speak Spanish which we thought might create problems in understanding and going through the process. Ian's first language is English, speaks Spanish well and he has a tremendous amount of experience selling real estate in Mexico. Ian is extremely professional and was able to explain the Mexican real estate purchase process clearly and accurately. He asked the right questions to get the criteria to narrow our search for a condominium and in fact we found the condo on our first tour with Ian. Within a day of confirming our desire to purchase the condo Ian was able to get a negotiated contract signed with the sellers. From there Ian contacted a knowledgeable home inspector whom we met onsite with Ian. He also arranged for us to meet a Notary in case documents needed to be dealt with during our return to Canada. The process was completed uneventfully while we were home in Canada and ahead of the predicted schedule. Ian has a fantastic in house Attorney and closing administrator, Alejandra, who was also extremely helpful as well not only in the closing on the condo but in helping to set up internet and electrical accounts as well. Both Ian and Alejandra have always answered all our questions promptly and made us quite comfortable in our transition to our Mexican condo. We both highly recommend Ian for your Mexican real estate needs.

Now that I have closed escrow and am the proud new owner of beautiful Casa del Oro on the East Cape, I'd like to acknowledge my realtor and now new friend Ian Gengos.
